Re: Beta test for Say No to Schistosoma Mac 64 bit only (July 10, 2012) Issues Thread

I've got two running on my big Mac that will be done in about an hour.

Is there any particular way I should stress them? Quit/restart, suspend/resume? Just let them run to completion?

suspend/resume (I would turn off Leave Application In Memory 'LIAM') That should give them a good stress test. The previous error, caused them to error out instantly. So seeing them progress past 0% is a good sign. We had 100% error rate before on Mac 64 bit. So far, things are looking good.

Thanks,

A dozen suspend/resume cycles - nothing odd. A few shutdown/restart cycles - rolls back to last checkpoint and continues to increment progress. Graphics works okay, reflecting the progress. Nothing odd in the system monitor. 1 hour 40 done, 1 hour to go.

Two complete and delivered. Both finished in 3 hours give or take a few minutes
