My poor little 5450 has only managed to make it through 1 of 7 WUs.

I too had this.

Same error on 7 crunched on a 570 with windows.

I have a feeling this Beta is not going well...
----------------------------------------My Remaining estimated times are going crazy on my NVidia computer. Way high then way low. Twice I had 3 (that were waiting to run) Error when they hadn't even started yet when the ETA went to over 4 hours suddenly...  ETA's range from 1:13 ~~ 4:57:23 for the NV computer My CPU jobs ETA is also way too high on the NV machine while the CPU ETA on the ATI machine is hours too low and the GPU ETAs are way too high. So it started downloading a ship load of CPU jobs. Both GPUs are proven good runners on Milkyway , Poem , GPUGrid, etc... Way more CPU usage on NV and ATI this time also. Now the ETA for my SN2S jobs are saying 22:08:50 , was 08:xx:xx , should be 05:xx:xx [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 9, 2012 10:19:37 PM] |

One WU errored when I changed to use 75% of cpus from 100% during crunching. Rest WU looks fine so far on HD7970

In the previous GPU beta I had zero errors. This time I am getting some exit 293 but some do succeed.

Three work units started in the same second. Four seconds later all three fail with exit code 293 within the same second. The order of failure of the work units is different to the start order. Only two of the work units record the exit code 293 in the stdoutdae.txt messages. This behavior suggests the fault may be with the scheduling by the BOINC client and not the work units. ATI GPU 0: ATI Radeon HD5700 series (Juniper) (CAL version 1.4.1703, 2048MB, 1000 GFLOPS peak):
So far 4 finished (3 valid, 1 pend.val., no errors). I tried to suspend one (LAIM on, no idea though whether this works on GPUs) while the tasks was in the GPU phase, it didn't error out but resumed somewhere way back, not from the suspended point. Plus, it looks like the GPU running right now is eating a lot of CPU time, although already in GPU phase. This is the suspended one. |

Wow that didn't go well...
