Re: June 9, 2013 update

With FA@H the only non-throttled project at WCG, glad the Dr. has more experiments in the pipe as this baby [#41] will not make it to Thanksgiving :D (For those who do not read it all, this little FA@H related bit was posted in the GO FAM forum: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=424102 ... alternating between using AutoDock and VINA and -that- is very interesting in more than one way.

Re: June 16, 2013 update

With a total runtime of 188:301:06:29:15 yesterday, could FightAIDS@Home be the first CPU project to cross that 200:000:00:00:00 mark or am I forgetting a record somewhere?

Re: June 16, 2013 update

Why are two different people reporting weekly updates with totally different statistics at around the same time? Does anyone else find this odd?

I started to report the statistics for a couple of reasons. I was curious if I could come up with about the same results as herflick and he gets busy and doesn't always do a weekly update so I thought I would help out so to speak. I believe our results will will come close to converging as time goes on. I also thought it would be an interesting intellectual exercise. This is the biggest experiment of FAAH by far and there does seem to be some interest in seeing the weekly progression and estimates of when this experiment will complete. If you are interested you could develop your own estimate and see how closely your estimate might be to herflick's and mine.
Cheers

Re: June 23, 2013 update

The DL 99 is as good as my 54 for DSFL ;o. Reverse calculate 17.15M at last weeks average of 287K results PD and it becomes ... 60 days. With what my big toe tells me, experiment 41 wont make the end of August [and my understanding is, [to exaggerate] H&H is moved to ensure there's no task shortage due work generation issues at Scripps :D]

Re: June 23, 2013 update

What I find " odd " is people like mmstick complaining instead of being grateful that Sgt. Joe and myself are donating our free time to come up with some sort of statistics and predictions.

So mmstick , why don't you do your own calculations and share them with us if you are so picky about what you see here.
