Thanks, but I meant... Any meaningful data other than the bargraph showing approximate progress. Your welcome. I'd like to know as well. How ever I don't think a progress indicator will be put in place. CFSW has been classed as a open ended project with at least a year of work. |

And as if by magic, there it is! 16.45% complete, 342 days remaining! :) I realize this might change depending on what the scientists end up doing, but thanks Sek!

Yes, thanks Sek for adding in these estimated figures. I'm sure that many (me included), feel happier now that there's a line in the sand - even if that line can easily be blown away...

No idea which copy you're looking at, but the only place the [guess] percent, that some have noted, is printed on WCGPI1... nowhere else, at this time. Maybe they've broken my color blend pre-processing code needed to see [I always could] ;>)

I've corrected link in my earlier post |

Just for those that do need no explanation of the correlation with what they see in their client's Tasks view and overall progress in hoppering the work units out ;) http://bit.ly/WCGCSW ... that would be just over 71% of total (that Lawrence found on the official project status page: http://www.faculty.virginia.edu/CFSW/status.html
(As always, what we process on the grid and what the scientists have in hand and quality checked can substantially differ). |

Thanks for all the info. If I am reading it right, CFSW is approximately 75% complete with 38 calendar days left to complete (this phase of) the project. I expect to get to sapphire with no problem.

Just 2 validations this morning. One of the few project that finish in 6 months or less.
Crunching On, for something else worthwhile (And who knows, will there be other locations/science groups on the planet interested and tag on from the gained knowledge, once Virginia has figured out the study's added value) |
