----------------------------------------May be there's another program who can connect to WCG and can make contribution to, with RPi compatibilities ? Hardnews already found your answer: http://burdeview.blogspot.com/p/raspberry-pi-boinc-project-ive-created.html ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by terrymac5 at Mar 6, 2013 4:10:23 PM] |

RPi is a "nice to play with" at this time. One or 2 projects may have a science compiled for this device. Quake Catcher Network YoYo Radiation Asteroids enigma WUProp Albert And possibly Subsetsum and Correlizer, but I haven't checked them in a while. Last I read, Physics@home was planning one as well. Those are just the ones I know of and there may even be more. Out of 82 projects listed on BOINCstats, 8.5-11.8% adoption rate isn't that bad in such a short period of time. Edit: OProject had the ALX app but they discontinued it for now since the app didn't actually do anything. Edit2: Im not sure about the older RPi's, but ODROID-U2 can run also run Android. So, one could actually have separate thumb drives to support multiple OS's. So, if one decided to go Android, they could even put nativeBOINC on one of them. Then the selection would include this list: PrimeGrid WUProp enigma YoYo SubsetSum TheSkynetPOGS Milkyway ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Coleslaw at Mar 7, 2013 2:31:51 AM] |

Dave,
just following your discussion on Raspberry Pi. Another question: How ist the cool signature created with all your WCG credentials (like runtime etc.)? Regards Klaus Klaus Dörner, Am Schmiedekotten 67, D-40627 Düsseldorf, klaus.doerner@wiewer.de, 0049-172-2187010 |
