Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 56 smilesmile

RT,
I finally got around to OC Frankenstien! Running at about 4GHz. Up from 3.3! We will see, once things settle down how that plays out! Need to work on using solid state drive on that same computer, but was told they are not comparable with my MB! Still think, remember doctor thinks their experts at everything, that I can get it to work! Glad to here you all are taking your PT seriously as I see many patients with TKR who do not and it ends up in a mess! Do hope to add a horse or to soon but some other expenses first.
PT- physical therapy
TKR-total knee replacement
OC- over clicking
MB-motherboard
Ps- Conrad's to new milestone achieves !!!!

coffee coffee coffeeGood Morning MOT coffee coffee coffee

Congratulations Judson! applause

Yup. That was some jailbreak. I would love to get those kinds of points routinely. Two and a third million. Man that is nice.

Yes, If you look at what Regan said in that quote and think of the 2008 election, we choose what he was trying to avoid. I fear we will make that same choice again. I truly miss good national leadership; and there appears to be none, even on the horizon.

Judson. The problem with TKR is that in order to get over it correctly you have to continually (not continuously but continually) hurt yourself dozens of times a day in order to make things work right. It is against human (or at least my) nature to do so. It substantially reduces what one might call the Quality of Life. But .... there really is no choice if you want to ever get over it.

Congrats on the work on Frankie. I hope your get that SSD in there. I need to try one of those myself. I have been thinking about getting one just big enough for the system and page files and running that on one of the systems. I am thinking I can do that with about a 60GB SSD.

Got to go this morning busy as ever. Hang in there gang. Everyone have as great of a day as possible.

No jailbreak. That's the new credit system that was part of the upgrade. Look closely at your Results Status and you'll see your claimed credit numbers much higher since the upgrade. Reading that it should drop soon but I'm not seeing it yet! biggrin

It was a record day for many of us. Basically, with the new credit system, we're claiming about double what we were. If you're returning a task that the wingman returned before the upgrade (or vice versa), you'll get roughly fifty percent more points granted than in the past. Gonna be interesting to see the claimed/granted numbers on tasks that went out after the upgrade.

I don't have time to dig into this and understand it right now and after all, the points/credits are just for fun but... As a matter of principle, I really dislike rubber rulers.

I see that the credits are up a bit, yes, but the results and run-time are much higher than normal as well indicating to me that it was a jailbreak.

RT slowly trying to get the most out of the computers I have, then will build a new one. AMD seems to be making some nice high power processors that are much cheaper then Intel but have not tried them yet! I wonder if all the other BOINC projects are also increase the points per run time?
