Sorry about not being around. I have tons of company (11) for spring break and am trying to come off of the pain meds.. Hard for me to do anything not absolutely required. All will be well.

dKt pain is a nasty beast! Taking or not taking them is neither good nor bad! Some people are genetically, emotionally or situationally prone to abuse and or be addicted! But you can not in my humble opinion make one an addict if they do not have the genetic and emotional make up! Can really suffer if you have physical pain and do not treat! One rough rule of thumb is if you feel pain take pain meds and feel less pain and better then you need them. If you take them feel spacy and no help then trying to treat anxiety and or depressive symptoms with wrong med! If you are buying them on the street, use them to "relax" or "get high" well we have a problem Houston! Not 100%, what is but a wrought way of trying to figure out what is going on! GeraldRube I am speaking with a high level American politician and he states for a large donation I can use NASA's computers soon! So hang on!!! Yes I am not very funny but I try!

Thanks to all of you that have said nice things to me. I have been so busy trying to deal with everything including company and broken computers etc. etc. I am also behind in my congratulations to all my fine team members on their milestones.

On the medical side, I took myself off of pain meds for 48 hours due to the side effects. I don't think I had any even minor withdrawal issues. I did/do still have a problem with the pain though and my wife and family wanted me back on them due to the downer it caused on the crowd. So I am partly back on them and doing reasonably well with the pain. I really think I will be able to do completely without them in a couple of weeks. My only real issue is getting the extension back to 0. It is at 5 and I am fighting it. I really want to get back to 0 and I am continuing with PT towards that goal. I am getting around at about 80% normal now so that is really good.

I installed a EVGA NVIDIA GTX 580 in an I7/870 machine and followed all the directions but have yet have not gotten any of the GPU betas. Will see what happens.
