The owner of the Phoenix Suns basketball team,
----------------------------------------Robert Sarver, came out strongly opposing AZ's new immigration laws. Arizona 's Governor, Jan Brewer, released the following statement in response to Sarver's criticism of the new law: "What if the owners of the Suns discovered that hordes of people were sneaking into games without paying? What if they had a good idea who the gate-crashers are but the ushers and security personnel were not allowed to ask these folks to produce their ticket stubs, thus non-paying attendees couldn't be ejected. Furthermore, what if Suns' ownership was expected to provide those who sneaked in with complimentary eats and drink? And what if, on those days when a gate-crasher became ill or injured, the Suns had to provide free medical care and shelter?" Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer  |

Right now I am getting about 8 WUs for GFAM for every one for SN2S. I am also building up the WUs in PV. This means that the WUs being reported completed are getting sent to the servers and the only thing slowing things down is the completion of the WUs by the wingmen. I did check and most of those WUs in PV are waiting for completion by the wingmen. I review the Tasks from time to time to see if there are any completed that haven't been reported and at various times I do see the number completed ready to report build up - when I see this, I go to the Projects tab to update WCG.

Jan Brewer So often, the super rich lose all perspective about what life is like for the rest of us. I remember when the Kennedys were all so ultra liberal about schools but of course sent their children to private schools for the mega-rich. They take completely unrealistic and idealistic stands on issues that have absolutely no effect on themselves seemingly not realizing the effect on the populace. I just finished reading all the posts in this new chapter. I also spent some time looking at the pictures and smilies. For the pictures, isn't there some way the ones that little mermaid uses could be included? I particularly like the one of the sexy mermaid she had used in some of her posts to MOT. From what I have figured out, it looks like LM uses Google image serach for her pictures. So, she doesn't have any sort of "library" of images but just links to ones already out there on the net. That means it will take a tad bit more work to gather copies for our site. |

Alert. I just saw this . Looks as if there will be an extended outage on the 6th (14:30 to 21:00). Another couple of shorter outages on the 5th. Our techs are good and I believe them. Still I am raising my queues to 1 day temporarily just to be "safe". Along with making sure you won't run out of work, it would probably be wise to force an update on your machines soon after the end of the outage (unless you find your machines have already updated the servers after the outage). Hopefully, there will be enough time that the validators can process your work before the end of day processing starts. |

 Good Morning MOT It is a fine Monday morning. Really nice weather here. I feel for the folks that have endured the really rough weather. I don't know how many have been lost; I can't imagine the loss. Just goes to show you that nothing is certain in this world. Earlier I was thinking of our old friend Dave Bell...I almost always do when I use his patented 6 cups of coffee "Good Morning". I see I got my sapphire SN2S. My move back to HCC was a bit ill-timed as I still have a ton of it to go through Validation and a few WUs running and in the queues on the various crunchers. On the knee front, progress is exceedingly slow, but steady. Everyone Have a Great Day! |

Good morning RT,
Yes, it is a very good day in Montery County (central coast) California as well. I don't think my pellet stove came on at all last night - the temperature in our bedroom was 74 when I went to bed. The stove coming on is triggered by a thermostat so we don't have to manually start it when we need to. It will be some time before I get new badges for SN2S as I only have 24 days for that project, but I have 145 days for GFAM so I should see ruby in about 3 days depending on how the completion of work in PV goes. I have three full pages in PV which would relate to over nine pages for HCC if I were still running that project. As for your knee, it sounds like you must be experiencing less pain and getting more motion back. I hope I don't have to go through the same thing. Have a great day yourself... |
