Now that folks are starting to crunch the SN2S WUs in their queues, it's the inevitable wave into PV and drop in our numbers that we saw today. Things will start picking back up as those WUs make it out of PV.

Good Saturday Morning MOT RT, my first experience in Texas had to do with chiggers in Dallas. I was very young and did not stay off the grass. Are chiggers a problem where you live? What is the best way to handle that as I remember chigger bytes all over my body and the itching was terrible. Chiggers tend to be more of a problem where the humidity is higher than here. We happen to live just to the west of the "Dry Line" whereas Dallas tends to be on the east side of the "Dry Line". Of course this "Dry Line" moves back and forth and is often imperceptible. In any case, the West seems to be dryer and the East more humid. I think the chigger problem is much bigger in the Southeastern US than in the Southwest US and Texas straddles that line. So generally we have very little problems with chiggers unless the little kids want to play in the sand/gravel or the grass around the place here or at the various parks/playgrounds. I do not know the best way to avoid the problem apart from just using Mosquito repellent in their clothes (underwear and sox especially). Chiggers tend to get between the skin and tighter clothes and then munch down. Yes, they do make kids miserable and generally it is in warmer weather so the kids end up stripping sometimes at the most in-opportune moments. Wow, I see what you mean Keith. Yup points fell off dramatically. I guess my strategy of having very small queues makes the swings more dramatic than if I had larger ones (Mine are at .4 days at the moment). Anyway with this strategy it seems that my PV queue should be quite large. Hopefully it is pretty much full at this point though I doubt that as most folks have much larger work queues on their machines. Oh well, "It all comes out in the wash" (as my mother used to say). Everyone have a great day today; no time like the present. One of your friends in Texas. ![]() |

Hey Rej, how are you doing now that you've been home for over a week? Hopefully, it's been going well. Will you need to check back with the doctor to see if they got it all or something like that?

I retesting RT as my mothers masen name is McMahan! Love what you wrote GeraldRube! Not sure if you have read the first edition of life's little instruction book but I try everyday to make the world in my own little way a better place! Currently going through a divorce something I never though I would experience but people change and not everyone is able or willing to share! It has been extremely tough initially, became apparent first week of November I had been fooled but it was not the first time nor will it be the last I have been tricked! As Teddy Rosevelt said "I would rather be occasionally fooled then constantly paranoid". Will be smarter but hopefully not less giving or generous! Have a great evening!
