Re: New Heights...

Calling out anyone for not producing to ones standard is against our teams spirit. All are welcome to do as they wish, how they wish.

Thank you all for what you do, when you do it!

And congrats to those coming back to Team EVGA with F@H. Great to have you back dancing

That is the kind of spirit we thrive in!! hugs

I haven't seen anyone call anyone out as you are espowsing in any post. What is your problem?
Hardly team spirit in any form, IMO.

Re: New Heights...

I guess points excitement is just a "bad" thing for those getting more than those saying it.

Afterburners posting at EVGA crunchung subforum:
"Wooo WHooo!! Looks like I might have had a personal best today... Numbers still coming in though...

Now someone trade me a 670FTW for my parts so I can do even more MUHAhahahahahaaaaaaa

Re: New Heights...

Sean, I know most of what I write here is kind of wishy-washy nonsense
- and I do it in order to do my best to create a hyggelig - a Danish concept - atmosphere.
Others write excellent technical posts - with my limited understanding of these matters - you included.
You would make me a very, very happy mermaid if you could, please, be kinder than astrolabe. in my
Where are you from? thread
- not to mention Marist_College who had me in tears for days -
and thus saving me from behaving like a bitch devilish
Don't Worry ....

Re: New Heights...

Anyway, Do what one wishes where one wishes to.... It's your stuff, use it where your heart takes you. It's what I'm doing. Not a biggie to me.
Hating on some because they are willing to sacrifice more does not seem Teamish to me however. Very few do it, but a small portion do it consistently. I'm not here on this team for any member(s). Nor does the fact that I "put up" more points mean that I am affluent to choose to do so. I respect the company that this team is crunching for (EVGA). And I believe that my sacrifices for causes that I believe in are worth it. So I put my science here. Get over yourselves.
BTW, Boinc says I'm currently over 1 million coming into the update. TOOT Toot, VRRROOOMMM.

LM,
I enjoy your posts for the most part, but then no one likes everything. There's a lot of banter here that has nothing to do with Team improvement and that's Ok. I'm just not a banter person. Have fun with what you are doing. FWIW, it's refreshing as far as I'm concerned.

Re: New Heights...

Mine is definitely smaller - but also kinder - than yours.
When I felt forced to give up my marriage of 45 years, I wished that I would
be able not to end up as a bitter old woman and worked hard on that.
My experience is that smiling at a stranger for the most part earns you a smile back
so Sean, I smile at you.
Now, which wolf are you feeding, referring to my collection of Facebook Filosofi?

There is a battle of two wolves inside us all.
One is evil.
It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, lies, inferiority and ego.
The other is good.
It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth.
The wolf that wins?
The one you feed.
Cherokee proverb

Re: New Heights...

Or there is no wolf at all.
And a smile back smile

Re: New Heights...

I have always loved that story... the Cherokee's were pretty darn insightful.

Re: New Heights...

I loved it at first read, Viper97.
Some people may have no wolves at all
- I willingly admit to having both of them
- but I try not to fill both food bowls blushing
