Yes, I remember your mead, and I still admire you for having the patience needed.
----------------------------------------I now have a local supplier - his is five years also. Upon me asking how he could sell it at that affordable price (which it is) he said it was a way for him to use all his honey (he's a beekeeper). As for the cream ale and orange cream ale I'm thoroughly confused. May I ask you, please, to expand as to colour, taste and alcohol percentage not to mention "viscosity" (the cream part), Viper97? EDIT: Here sat a neat picture of a mermaid taking manatees for cows and vice versa - problem was: she had lost her sea shells so I decided it was too risquée and carried out some self censorship [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 11, 2012 12:18:41 PM] |

The cream ale is golden in color and gets it's flavor not from cream but from the grains used during the brewing process. It's a smooth beer with a slight creamy finish.
The orange cream ale is one I made and I was having flashbacks to my childhood with the orange popsicles with a vanilla cream filling. The best of both worlds. So, I thought hey! it's summer! an adult version of an orange cream popsicle! Brilliant! That's how all this came about. The ale itself is a close match to a German Kolsch. I've brewed these batches to be about 7.5% ABU. Give or take. |

Thank you, Viper97.
It sounds very nice. I'm sorry I'm 9 time zones away from that brew of yours not to mention the meals |

Well, my buddy has gone home to Detroit. Looked in on my scientific donation equipment and noticed that some went angry for my lack of attention. Got it remedied and all back at 100%.
From the looks of the stats for this team, some equipment checking should be done by all. |

After about 24 hours of running a massive fever, I'm almost ready to tackle things. Almost.

I'm glad you are fairly well again and nearly ready to tackle things again. |

Calling out anyone for not producing to ones standard is against our teams spirit. All are welcome to do as they wish, how they wish.
----------------------------------------Thank you all for what you do, when you do it! And congrats to those coming back to Team EVGA with F@H. Great to have you back That is the kind of spirit we thrive in!! ![]() |

Good morning crew! A brief update:
----------------------------------------Whatever hit me Monday night broke early Wednesday evening at 6:15 PM. Hard to wake up in a bed soaked but heck at least the evil is gone. I'm 19 and 20 in the step-up queue for EVGA and my 670's. Expect (hope) that will take place next week when I can pay the costs and ship two 580's back to them. Nice to see ya gack GT! I'll reiterate AB's line. It's not about how much we produce as a person for numbers alone cannot fathom our desire to help. Not everyone can afford to toss money into something they may never see a benefit from in their life time. The fact they toss what they can into this big old pot to help humanity at all is something to truly be appreciated. What makes this team great (and any team) is the cooperation of it's members in doing WHAT they can as opposed to WHAT IS DEMANDED . Contribute what you can and when you can. And bless you for it. (No, I'm not a religious person either!) Crunch'em if you got'em, Fold'em when you need to. [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 12, 2012 12:19:03 PM] |
