Think we'll all be able to foresee and agree that the HFCC points blowout will be rectified when the techs get in, i.e. they'll be rerunning the Sunday stats when they can.

(Such a rude awakening this morning having caught up in validations and then get knocked 30 slots ;P)

P.S. Anyone who has the monster points will when drilling into the Result Status page find 1 HFCC (or more), with a nice round number added on and a bunch of zeros in-between... something like 50000090.41. or a pattern like 50505090.41. Can't see this to have happened in the Credits to Points conversion as it did express in the external stats that only use credits.

I'm also down around 32 places when I look in My Grid; I was around 464 a couple of days ago and now I'm at 496. My points total in My Grid, My Statistics look about right, but when I go down the page I see a Points Generated graph with one entry, for the last day, with about 46M. Going by Free-DC my Rank has risen from around 450 to 262 and my combined Boinc projects Rank has risen by around 15places since yesterday.

Yesterdays highest points page is dominated by users I don't recognize. A 700M increase by the highest daily points user and the second user had a 46M points jump in daily return.

I think the problem might look worse before it's fixed, as stats sites update quite regularly and WCG only twice daily, and it's early somewhere.

Similar problems occurred at a couple of other projects in recent months, following server updates I think - just in case that's relevant.

Should be between 59 and 60M and ranked around 463.

I lost "only" 7 places. Went from 86 to 93.

Still no reaction from tech. Maybe somebody was able to penetrate our software and hardware defenses and has hacked through our Vault were we keep all our golden Points. He carried away a few billion points. I hope that an in depth investigation will be carried out, and the responsible will be hanged high and clear in front of the community.

We must absolutely set an example. We had already in the past this horrible theft history with the missing UD credits. It took years of painstaking search to localize them. BTW a rescue mission is set to go by November to get a definitive confirmation.
