Thanks for confirming that it's not just me that has experienced this and for the links that make interesting reading. I appreciate that responses already made are only a very small snapshot, but it seems odd that we have all experienced a drop of about 30 places in a 12-hour period.
----------------------------------------The Sami Gabriel example is very perplexing. Could 9 machines really have produced so many points in only 6 months for a total run time of under 22 years? There certainly seems like a major discrepancy between #2534 for Total Run Time ranking and #61 for Points Generated ranking. EDIT: Thanks JmBoullier for your reply! Global Stats Points yesterday went from ~400M to 5,065,314,274 This statistic alone gives an idea of how many "happy members" have won the jackpot.The number of lost ranks reported by several members is just a confirmation and a natural consequence.  Edit: Also, when you see Team 2ch 34th in the daily list by points, it's certain that there has been something wrong. I've somehow gained over 87.6 million points today. I have a sneaking suspicion that something's just not right there and that today's stats may be slightly off. Not that I object to a score like that, but I just didn't earn it.

I spammed The Vultures team thread thusly,
but have now moved the post here - it seems to be where it belongs: I was just alerted to a high, high score with cruncher Hanski. Maybe we all get some ... Also, I notice clicking the links takes me places I didn't expect - "Recent Threads" take me to the "Index", my current team's 'join team' link takes me to my own stats page from where I can click my team and actually get there .... I thought somebody had hacked me, and I'm spamming here, because you, Fraz, is the first person who has posted that you have noticed irregularities |

I too loose around 30 places.
----------------------------------------Since several weeks boincstats is less accurate than before. Maybe boincstats updated later. In all cases, I found several members with a lot of more points (millions) than they earned on a daily basis during the last monts. It is anyway interesting to see that several people make observation based on common sense (possible vs. impossible). I would like that finance people would develop a similar reasonable common sense ! ...  Yves |

i havedropped 35 now i check at boinc states and i now have dropped 65 ranks in 12 hours
