Before the error series came along, the DSFL WUs on my machine finished within 5.5 up to 6.5 hours CPU time. Now I have a WU (target 7) running for just over 6 hours, and it has 40.9% completed.
----------------------------------------Looking into the stderr file, the WU has 64 tasks, and it just finished task 25: [22:27:07] Starting job 25,CPU time is 20287.578125. [22:27:07] ZINC04732408.pdbqt size = 30 6 ../../projects/www.worldcommunitygrid.org/dsfl.target_00000007.pdbqt size = 13798 0 [22:52:51] Finished Job #25 cpu time used 1248.921875 Task is: DSFL_ 00000007_ 0000000_ 0492_ 0-- - In Progress 05.09.11 12:36:51 15.09.11 12:36:51 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 I am a bit scared to waste 20+ hours with this WU and end up in an error. So the question is: Has anyone else made a similar experience? Regards, Martin |

I have only one target 7 WU, which is 58.6% complete after 6:54 hours running. Previous WUs have taken 4.5 - 6.5 hours.

I have an AMD 9150 and target 7 wu are running 17 to 19 hours. I would not be worried that they are long running just so they keep progressing. I am guessing each target will run a little differently. On my P4's they have run 20+ hours, but that was previous targets.

I have two Target 7 WUs on my I7 930 PC -- they are both over 50% completed, with an estimated total completion time of 10 hours per WU. Just looks like Target 7 is just "a tough nut to crack".

I have a target 8 WU that looks like it will be almost 16hrs with about 2 hours left. The other targets were taking about 6hrs on this machine.
It seems to be progressing fine. |

I've pulled this project off of all except my fastest machines. Run times were going from 20 to 27 hours. I'm not allowing it on anything slower than 3ghz, no hyper-threading allowed.

The WU seem to be rather long for all of you (from 6 to 12 hrs).
I don't mind if the WU are long, but only if they don't have frequent saving check points. Could you please tell me if the WU you are crunching have frequent check points or not ? Thank you, & have a nice day. Jean-Philippe |

These long running WUs are way too long. I have, like KWSN, pulled it off of my slower machines and now only run it on the bigger machines. For example, I have some machines that have Atom processors (dual core) and these are projected at 66 hours for one of these long ("Target 7" ?) Work Units. Of course it will be 3 days before it takes effect even though I have a queue length of "1" day. . Yes, it does make sense if you think about it.
