Re: Looong running WUs

@hypernova-Long time no see. When are you going back to full throttle?

nanoprobe, I never stopped contributing albeit at a much lower rate. Hot weather is a problem. We are approaching lower temp times. Things should be improving. I have still not found a solution for my solar system. I have to be patient.
Ahhh!! those were nice times when I could run at a hellish pace around 1 M ppd.

Re: Looong running WUs

I appreciate that we have had a reply from Uplinger about WUs being chopped into smaller ones, so on a lighter note, has anyone had a longer running WU than this one?

Wow! shock

Are you sure this WU and the one with 59 hours remaining are really progressing? What information do you see on "properties" (i.e. the same info that coolstream posted)?

Re: Looong running WUs

There's definitely something wrong. CPU time (Processor tijd) and elapsed time (Verstreken tijd) should be similar, and here you have a huge difference. I think those units are stuck sad

I don't know if someone has a better suggestion, but I'd restart the machine. Of course you'll lose all that time, back to the last checkpoint (27'56 and 53'21 respectively).

Re: Looong running WUs

Getting stranger
After reboot these units won't work. After a while they pause (Trying to access GPU)

It doesn't matter if GPU is enabled or disabled in Boinc Manager

Looks like target 7 is causing more troubles.
More of them went in error. :(
(- exit code 195 (0xc3))

Re: Looong running WUs

Strange indeed.

I expect some of the gurus to step in and give some advice. I suggest you suspend those WUs for now (well, they are already paused, but just in case).

Re: Looong running WUs

Hello de-abacus,
You are not the first to get inexplicable GPU messages from DSFL work units, though it is unusual. My suggestion is to abort. If the WCG staff want more information, I expect that they will post a general query about these GPU errors.
