Re: Beta version 6.19 Aug 30, 2011

My system (i7 980 W7) is also very sluggish which is NOT normal. I have 17+ GB free memory and 7.2GB memory used. I had 4 ( 3 have since finished) Clean Energy Project jobs running. After the 3 finished I suspended the last one. System still sluggish. My Firefox 6.0 browser has a update I will install after I restart FF. I suspect a reboot will correct the problem. Currently I have 11 HFCC jobs running.

Re: Beta version 6.19 Aug 30, 2011

After restarting FF (w/o update) mem usage is down to 5.7 GB and free mem is 18.8 GB. System is not acting sluggish now. Any problems w/ other browsers?

@krakatuk and pramo
Yes you are right, the problem is COMODO.
Had during this night the same problem with Drug Search for Leishmaniasis DSFL. It produced 18 errors bevor I allowed the tasks in COMODO. sad

Re: Beta version 6.19 Aug 30, 2011

Only errors on this Workunit so far. *_6 it's me, estimated runtime 11½ hours.

http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/v...s.do?workunitId=328564135

4 of the 5 errors end with:
<file_name>BETA_BETA_00002025_0000005_0299_4_0</file_name>
<error_code>-131</error_code> what means file size too big, what also could happen with the DSFL-production tasks.

Partial result Log

Re: Beta version 6.19 Aug 30, 2011

CP, thanksfor reporting on this. It's a relatively easy to adjust parameter in the work file wrapper. I'll poll the techs on this, but likely they'll see it themselves.

The tasks in production seem to have been made shorter from the first dozen I've had here. Now running 4:30 - 4:75 hours opposedto the 6.19 beta which were almost hitting 7 hours on my quad.

I changed the parameter locally to unlimited.

If I'm at my machine when the task finish, I can have a look how big the file BETA_BETA_00002025_0000005_0299_6_0 really is.

Perhaps Keith can do something about that.

I was able to upload the result file. The size was 344.64K. max_nbytes was 250000.

The techs word is that they're checking the WUs in the feeder, if there are any with 200 tasks in them, as yours had. The result file grow linear, so they hit the wall. Whilst you may have set the file limit up, does not mean your wingmen will, so you'd end up with another too late for pushing the envelope.

Maybe benevolence strikes again and your hours are granted passage to the stats totals.
