New DSFL Beta
We have started a new DSFL beta test. This has two purposes.

1. To identify bad targets before they get set out into the wild.

2. To help quantify the runtimes for targets in comparison to each other.

For this initial test, we are running the first 53 original targets the researcher provided. We know that some will be in error, this is to prove our test is valid. Each of the targets is going to be run against 100 ligands each. The same 100 for each target. We will use the results from the beta test to answer both of the questions above.

Also, I have sized these workunits to be smaller than production (just in case a target is really difficult).

I currently have 27 cores running the beta units...I wasn't paying a huge amount of attention but I did notice that a half dozen or so errored out in the first few seconds. I suspended other DSFL tasks and resumed as soon as the beta units started (after about 5 seconds). I'm not sure if what I did caused the issue or not. On the new beta units downloaded I suspended and resumed after just a couple of seconds and they didn't error out after that.

Batches 5, 6, 15, 40, 47, 48 and 52 belongs to your test to be proved?
Only errors directly after their start.
Batch 16 contains long running tasks.

Greetings Crystal Pellet,

We knew of 3 targets in this test that should have been bad, they should have showed up in this test and they did. 5, 6, 15. The new ones that are proved to be bad as well are 40, 47, 48, 52 and 53. We have received updated targets from the researchers to replace these 8 targets with which will be sent through for another test in probably the next few days.

Howdy Sek!

Test was sent out entirely, with the limited number of results it went out quickly.

it was closer to 53 x 19 x 2 for the results...except some full size workunits for target 16 made it into the mix but this did not change the validity of the test as the 100 ligands that ran on all targets also ran on target 16. It is just extra ligands were run as well at normal length so they appeared longer to members.

if the results that errored out quickly had this in the first long set of numbers then it is normal behavior and expected (we are working towards correcting the target file that causes the error).
