And good morning to you RT.

Someone from PG&E just came and installed a new meter which lets us deliver power to PG&E and provide power for our home. The solar system I had installed via Sungevity is providing over 3.5 Kw and right now the meter is running backwards. It will be interesting to see how our electric bill will change over the next few months. Before the inverter was turned on, we were using almost 5 Kw and that was for heating water since my wife had just taken a shower. When the inverter was turned on, the power usage change to less than 1 Kw. When the water got hot, we were delivering 3.5 Kw back into the grid.

When last I looked, the meter had a reading of 99999. I am going to check it again as it has been awhile. It is now 99997 and we are delivering 3.6 Kw to PG&E. I want to monitor this for a week to see our power use while we have a lot of sun and the days will be getting shorter. I will see the results on a monthly basis when I get my bill.

Being all electric, we will be able to take advantage of the system, and we won't have any problems with power used by our computers. I will probably get an i7 or better next year.

nanoprobe, I don't know what team you are on, but it would be so cool to have you on the MyOnlineTeam team. We have been close to a million points a day and, from what I saw when doing a compare with your i d, you are averaging over 84,000 points a day. I see that RT has an average of 50,990 points a day.

As for any jealousy, I am jealous of the way you are able to generate such computing power. I have been retired for a year and a half so I have the time (if not the money) to change my systems. I also need to get the knowledge I need to make any such changes unless it is just adding a new computer. I don't know how many displays I want to have active - I have 4 now. Any ideas are appreciated.
