 Good Morning MOT Congratulations DA! I understand what you mean by about the bagpipes. Hopefully we can make the 365 year but for my part, the points are an anomaly. I am hoping when things settle back down a bit, I can average about 1/4 million. But that may be wishful thinking. Finialy all my crunchers except one are working! May actually break 200K today which if my calculations are correct is where I should be with current working machines! Interesting to watch as all the backbone of our team, in my opinion, the crunchers consistently putting in the 1-40,000 points are slowly creeping up in their daily out put! Funny also how though unspoken every time one of the top 4 crunchers on the team increases their daily out out all the others follow suit! That I am going to build a four processor i7 I am sure will not cause increased sales at Newegg to MOT! I hate putting LOL but I do get a chuckle out of it as it is for a great cause and I get to exercise my inner child! Way to go MOT! We will break 365. Keithhenry what do we need to average a day from here on to end of tear to make that or beat that goal?

Today was a great great day. We set another new points record. You folks are getting really good at that. Those records sure don't last that long!  Congrats DA! 30 years is a lot of crunching and over half of it is here with MOT! imdioxin and stonechild rejoined our active ranks today. Welcome back! parmesian, I think you may end up having to give up your head lurker role.  Daeloan is real good about keeping up with our thread but has yet to post here. If we can get you posting here, well, I'm sure we'll have more folks posting here as well in due time. I know I'd love to hear from more folks here. September is looking like one of our best months ever, if not the best ever. We're less than 80,000 points away from averaging a million points a day this month. Three and a half months to go. I'm starting to think you folks are going to find a way to make that 365 million mark! Talk about incredible. Now THAT would be an amazing feat!i would post, but that would gain me points in the lurker race. and as everyone knows, lurking is like golf, the lower the score the better  besides, i'm hardly a top level lurker, i have posted nearly 200 times in 2496 days. that's more than two posts a month In Memory of Dave Bell |

Tonight's one of the rare occasions where there's a problem with the stats running. I'll post ours once WCG fixes things (though I may end up doing that in the morning). Judson, I'll try to remember to figure that.

Good Morning MOT and visitors Not too much newsworthy around here. We finally got a touch of water falling out of the sky. Not much...certainly not enough to break the drought but no one is complaining. I am not sure but I think we have broken a lot of heat and drought records. Some of our friends down in central Texas have lost their homes. Burned to the ground. We are all glad this summer is ending. Everyone have a great day and keep crunching. |

Okay, we are now averaging over one million points a day for September. As of the 17th, we have 224,882,194 points. That leaves 140,117,806 left to get to 365 million and that works out to 1,334,455 per day for the remaining 105 days.
