Yup, the FAAH coming out now are repairs which have about a 20 hour due date.
----------------------------------------I experimented with my P1 laptop on some of the downloads, I got a series of HPF2 units and every single one of them repeatedly got the HTTP error. You'll have to excuse all the user aborts, but that's what testing is all about. Besides, it couldn't complete one of those in under 1000 hours. I've seen some errors, which is unusual, but they have been very short, such as this one, which resolved itself in one minute:

I am having problems starting several WUs on one system. Not sure what the problem is.

Yes - as mfbabb2 said above this is exactly what we are trying to test and yes - cep2 definitely bogged down the system.
----------------------------------------However, as anhhai said - it is a long weekend and I'm supposed to be helping my wife pack so I've suspended the cep2 beta for now and will resume working on this on tuesday. Thank you for all your machines - this is definitely more load than we could simulate :-) Please do not abort workunits - I need to see if the system will recover from this point or if it will remain degraded. I have 4 CEP2s that have been stuck for hours. Everything else uploads and downloads fine. Looks like they may be a victim of the suspension.

My CEP2's are trickling down at 17 kpbs on a 68 meg file. I'll leave these for others to endure.

Me quad is currently backfilling and all receipts were super-fast, some bigger ones reaching > 1024Kbps, except one qcaux file... per BOINCTasks been downloading for the past 1:55 hours, real download time 37 minutes and at 92% been never above 22Kbps, ssemingly a key file holding 8 Tasks to complete download.
Oh sudden speedup... last percents flew. Done. Fortunately it's one of these 67MB "one-off" files. Oddly the machine is 4 core, but received 8 CEP2 Beta jobs... suppose this is to cater for the smaller population doing these. The machine is now turning into a bleary eyed High Priority cruncher... 20 Beta is cache, what a luxury, except they're all due in the next 48 hours and that multi-hour download has already used the same hours from that 48 hour deadline. It's 6.10.59 on Linux so now it's tried multiple jobs to find which will finish quickest and memory is near exploding since with CEP2 LAIM is on... 7 are now sitting there pre-empted or HP running including 3 from normal production. If this does not collapse and finish in time then it will have been thé Entre-Nous test. --//-- |

My CEP2's are trickling down at 17 kpbs on a 68 meg file. I'll leave these for others to endure. The ones of mine that did download were painfully slow too. 20 kbps or so. The 4 that were stuck from last night are no longer in the pending mode so I'm assuming that they finished. Que is drying up but this sure has been fun. @ Dataman. I couldn't find a virgin so I sacrificed a bag of Cheetos instead.

Hi,
----------------------------------------I did not notice download error only connection problems. But suddenly the hosts were able to download at 600 kbits (usually is only between 50 and 200 kbits) without any particular change on my side. Now all beta WUs have sent back. Yves |
