We are seeing an increase in the number of aborted file transfers (not large - but still significant). If someone is experiencing an issue and is aborting the file transfer, can they let us know what was happening and why they aborted them?

I haven't aborted my transfer yet, but I am having problems downloading a WU.

I have 2 machines (both Macs) that are suddenly experiencing download "retries". let me know if I need to post any additional info.
----------------------------------------Edit: One machine finally downloaded successfully after several "Retry Now" attempts (about 5 minutes apart). Other machine got part of the downloads thru after several "Retry Now" attempts (about 5 minutes apart) but part of the download is still in "retry" state. I will periodically "kick" it.

i have additional machine experiencing this problem. I recommend we discontinue this beta test til after the holiday (tuesday) and restart everything from scratch

I just received my first CEP2 Beta and it appears (?) the server is down. Download backoff.

I agree it is the sort of thing that needs to be tested, but it is also holiday weekend here in the states. I don't want knreed and the others to have to work this weekend, when they can just retest this tuesday. The restart from scratch part is just so we can get more beta WUs  |

I disagree -- this is exactly the sort of thing that needs to be tested! I can't download new tasks. Messages says the server is down. This Beta test is ending in gloom and squalls. I suggest we name this particular Beta test 'Black Cloud Rising'.  Lawrence |

For what it is worth, everything looked good until CEP2 started to download. That is the one I still have segments trying to download (or maybe not trying).
