DDDTP2 has had an announcement, it is indeed over with sad

With reading that, it sounds as if their much anticipated "Influenza Phase 2" that we have been waiting even longer than DDDTP2 for, won't been arriving at all sad

The Grid seems to be fast running out of projects and no news as to when we will get replacement projects confused

Note: You must be using BOINC 7.0.40 or higher but not 7.0.58 which has issues!


Apparently 7.0.58 is a first attempt at a WCG -approved BOINC Mgr but has a few problems. On the new BMgr SekeRob posts:
We're not far off from a WCG Beta test release and a new Berkeley recommended [which will then be also in 64 bit build, but not required to do 64 bit crunching]. My hope is, Berkeley and WCG will sync the 'recommended' version number. It's not far off anymore, and for sure app_config.xml features have been locked in and tested by thousands who have been forward on.

The research never got off the testing stage, even though they have tried to say how much help our time has been, I can't help thinking that it was all for nothing sad , ohh well, nothing ventured nothing gained I suppose.
