71 days of run-time in a day, I doubt I'll be beating that any time soon!

chiben has yet to show any activity since joining WCG on Jan 4. Though he was browsing the thread last night (around the time he joined the team).
----------------------------------------It may be he/she needs some help to get started so please keep an eye on Member(s) browsing this thread and be prepared to lend a hand. ![]() |

At 0:112:05:07:35 the lunch crunch was substantially below average but I think there may have been a validator problem from around 10:30 until just after the 12:00 update. 48 members were active during the 12hrs this morning which is slightlu higher than normal which tends to support my theory that there was a validation lag. A quick glance at the global stats for the lunch update also offers support.

Well Done to everyone who has achieved a Personal Best
---------------------------------------- Another thing that will help the Team out over the next few days (depending on who is running the project), is the fact that the 1st batch of No Reply's has started today for C4CW, personally I will have 78 work units go No Reply for C4CW by the end of today and I haven't counted how many for tomorrow or Tuesday ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Is that "no reply" as in you ran out of time past the deadline to process them, or something else?
----------------------------------------If the former, I've got my "testing" server doing 16 at a time on a 1.0 day cache - it's still holding a fair few in that cache, since it can do 16 at a time, but it'll easily get them done before the deadline! ![]() EDIT 1: just realised, is it due to the validator-issues? ![]() EDIT 2: validator-issues depending, I should get the next Sapphire badge in tonight's update, for C4CW! ![]() ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Thargor at Jan 13, 2013 4:23:41 PM] |

----------------------------------------Jan 13, 2013 5:19:48 PM We are currently running backups of the database starting at 7:30 UTC on Sunday and Wednesday mornings. In order to allow them to finish relatively quickly while we wait for the additional RAM, we are stopping the backend processes (i.e. validation) while the backup runs. This means that a large backlog of work needing validation will build up during that timeframe. It will resume around 15:00 UTC and take 12-18 hours to catch up. |
