The lunchtime crunch was better than average at 0:149:08:36:48 (avg 0:141:02:29:28) suggesting a daily total >320. Then the validator slowed down and the final outturn was a miserly 0:222:18:28:14 despite more than 60 team member submitting results yesterday. Guess we're looking fot a total today well over 365. The lunch crunch figure will be interesting! wink


I'm hoping it will be, 3 systems with my 6570's were all punched to x2 GPU's yesterday afternoon and are running stable, but my new HD7770 turned up this morning and is running with just x4 GPU at the moment for testing, once verified as okay, I'll unleash the max I get get out of it while keeping it stable (on one thread, someone spoke of running 24 at once on a hd7770!! shock , I'm not so sure about that, if it can, it can, but it'll be a while before I get to that stage... bit by bit, step by step, testing as I go). biggrin

All seems to be running okay at the moment, although still a little early to tell, between 17-18 minutes each on the HD7770 when running 4 at once.

The key indicator is 7day Avg per cd which smooths out the ups and downs of recent days and thus it is very satisfying to see it at an all time high 317.3 biggrin cool

More news on Improbable Island's Distributed Supercomputer (IIDS)

Latest Estimates of number of days to close the gap are : Points 802 Results 284.

In terms of RunTime IIDS is 159,961 days (438 yrs) ahead of us and the gap is still widening at a rate of 131 days per day so we've still got some ground to make up. We need more new members! wink

For those wondering whyIIDS matters, it's because WCG sees them as a United Kingdom team and thus technically bigger than the UK team. So it would be nice to be undisputed #1!
