I'm now planning a new machine to add to the pool...

It's looking likely that it'll be a twin Xeon E5645 (hex-core 2.40GHz) tower with 12GB (6x2GB) DDR3 RAM, but I'm likely to be building it in stages so it won't have both CPUs to start with!

Should help with the researching, a little bit, once it's properly up and running (although it'll likely be a few months before it's fully operational with both CPUs)! smile

I've taken to leaving the side of my gaming PC case off, while I'm in work, with a 16" pedestal-fan pointing into it......seems to help quite nicely, when it's warm during the day!

I keep it regularly blasted with a dust-buster can, anyway, so dust isn't an issue...
