Hey Rej, how are things on your side of the border? Cold and humid. We had snow again yesterday. The winter just wont let go! The team is doing very well. I wish I had the means Jud has. I would install a few more Pc here too. They would keep me warm. Rej There must be some correlation between old age and cold tolerance. I'm starting to have a hard time with some of the winters we have here. I am starting to understand those who migrate to places like south Texas and south Florida to escape the cold weather. Once again, I am not growing old gracefully! The worst blizzard I ever encountered was when I was a teenager and we were moving from Houston to Midland, Texas. Of course, the most rain I saw was while we were living in Houston (isn't that south Texas?). Actually, Houston is in SouthEast Texas (when you're our size you have to divide things up a bit more than most folks) right along the coast. We are nowhere near the South Texas where doc lives (he's over 300 miles south of us). ![]() I lived in San Angelo, TX, during the blizzard of 1984 (Uncle Sam's idea) and while it was the worst anyone could remember for West Texas, it didn't hold a candle to the winter I spent on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (again, Uncle Sam's idea). Those folks are just nuts as far as snow is concerned. I parted company with Uncle Sam when they told me I would have to spend four more years up there. When they told me that I quoted the great statesman from Tennessee, Davy Crockett, who said, "You can all go to Hell; I'm going to Texas." It's been 23 years and I've never regretted the choice. Texas born and bred (most likely die here, too). edit: for graphic correction In Memory of Dave Bell [Edit 3 times, last edit by ErikaT at Apr 25, 2011 12:41:44 PM] |

Orders We Will Not Obey
----------------------------------------“The time is now near at hand which must probably determine, whether Americans are to be, Freemen, or Slaves; whether they are to have any property they can call their own; whether their Houses, and Farms, are to be pillaged and destroyed, and they consigned to a State of Wretchedness from which no human efforts will probably deliver them. The fate of unborn Millions will now depend, under God, on the Courage and Conduct of this army” -- Gen. George Washington, to his troops before the battle of Long Island http://oathkeepers.org/oath/2009/03/03/declaration-of-orders-we-will-not-obey/ |

Good Morning MOT Green' Light Bulbs Linked to Cancer http://www.newsmaxhealth.com/health_stories/g...=al&promo_code=C242-1 Man I hope that is wrong. I have them all over the place. The worst blizzard I ever encountered was when I was a teenager and we were moving from Houston to Midland, Texas. Of course, the most rain I saw was while we were living in Houston (isn't that south Texas?). They call the Dallas/Fort Worth area "North Texas" but I grew up in Amarillo, which is in the "panhandle" of Texas well over a hundred miles north of here and still not the northern most portion of Texas. While I spent a couple of weeks in Norway in February, the coldest I ever was, was in Amarillo. It was -17F there one morning when I was out trying to start my girlfriend's (now wife) car. The worst Ice storm was in Fort Worth and the strongest rain in Houston. (Makes Texas sound like a great place huh?).....When they told me that I quoted the great statesman from Tennessee, Davy Crockett, who said, "You can all go to Hell; I'm going to Texas." It's been 23 years and I've never regretted the choice. Texas born and bred (most likely die here, too). Ditto on that.. I thought that I was going to die one time in South Africa, and again in Germany..but now most likely at home in the great state of Texas.Vit D3 20,000 IU's per day will change your life. Long long explanation why but will. Down side? You sleep like a baby, lose weight, no more flu less cancer no osteoporosis and more energy!!! You are right about big pharma! To much money in treating not curing or preventing! You convinced me. I am taking it.At this rate I will catch RT in a little over 57,000 days give or take a few thousand days!!!! At the rate you are growing crunching capacity, I would bet it will be closer to 57 days rather than 57,000. ![]() Orders We Will Not Obey Perhaps it is because of my prejudice, my circle of friends or some other factor, but I hear a lot of people that are extremely unhappy with our federal government; more so than ever before in my experience. Again that could be just because I am who I am and most folks I talk to know my inclinations. In any case, it is truly a troubling time in US national politics. Happy Easter to my Christian Friends. Peace to all. ![]() |

(Makes Texas sound like a great place huh?) Once upon a time, when I was in Houston on a business trip for a couple of weeks, one of the locals told me "If it don't stink, stick or sting, it ain't from Texas". Sort of makes you think. That, and the jalapeno muffin appetizer which I mistook for a blueberry muffin in a dimly lit (i.e. expensive) Houston restaurant. The waitress did not know whether to laugh or call an ambulance..... I thought I was going to die right then and there. - D |

Vit D3 20,000 IU's per day will change your life. Long long explanation why but will. Down side? You sleep like a baby, loose weight, no more flu less cancer no osteoporosis and more energy!!! You are right about big pharma! To much money in treating not curing or preventing! I just recently added D3 to my regiment but I've read 10,000 IUs should be the max dosage per day. I've searched around but have found nothing definitive about daily dosages above 10,000 IUs. Are there any articles or studies you can link me to? Thanks.
