Version 1.0c has been posted. I'm hoping I've gotten all of the date formats handled.

Hello Mike,
With version 1.0c, I'was able to retrieve data. Not all data was converted well. From the 1082 WU's 36 records were converted incorrectly. All with received (sent) date of 9, 11 or 12 March. The returned date was also incorrect when it was before the 13th. Of course I started with an empty DB. Just some records below from one host ordered by WU-name. Have a look at the first 4 records each. From the WCG Results pages: |

You should have a bunch of "project-###-stripped-##.txt" files that were created on your last update. Please zip them up and send them to pirogue@"the web site domain".
----------------------------------------I think the problem is the way I'm downloading the pages. |

Okay, I really think this is it for the dates. I gave up trying to use the locale settings. The dates are now manually assembled.

It would be useful if we could put together some tables of performances per CPU, per frequency, per project. Similar to these folding tables.
I'm sure plenty of people would be interested in getting as much credit as they can over several systems. Others would be keen to know the best CPU's for their favorite project(s). It might also persuade people to move to x64 or Linux if the stats included operating system types. |

It would be useful if we could put together some tables of performances per CPU, per frequency, per project. Similar to these folding tables. It's on the ToDo list. I'm working on adding an upload mechanism to get the data consolidated. Another thing that needs to be done is come up with a standardized notation for all of the processors. I'm still looking for a good list if anyone knows of one.I'm sure plenty of people would be interested in getting as much credit as they can over several systems. Others would be keen to know the best CPU's for their favorite project(s). Just an idea, but perhaps you could call the CPU info using systeminfo.
It works from the command line, so it could be used to output the info. It's fairly uniform across XP, Vista and W7, but server output format is slightly different. eg., EM64T Family 6 Model 30 Stepping 5 GenuineIntel ~2800 Mhz You could compare this read info, not user input, against a ref. table (stored online and built from AMD and Intel CPU Finder). This method would also let you get other info such as the operating system details (XP, Vista, Win7, 2003... x86, x64) and core frequency. |

There are some API calls that I thought of using when I started, but it would only help on the machines where WCGDAWS is actually run.
----------------------------------------It wouldn't help with the others. It also wouldn't help for Linux or Mac users. I'm open to suggestions, but a standardized list and user input seem to be the best alternative. |
