anyone interested in diseases will think he came to the wrong place when he sees this. sorry, but nothing is visible that would indicate otherwise.  The very next thing written under the WCG logo mentions only the affordabilty of solar energy. I believe that something could be learned from the Neopets front page
http://www.neopets.com/index.phtml Specifically, the News Flash panel. Shows each event (project) cyclically with a matching graphic; mousing over the sub-panels selects the (project) in question, displays the matching graphic and clicking on the graphic selects the appropriate (project) sub-page. I'm sure the Nickelodeon guys would give WCG a jump-start on the code if required. Sure, I play the games. They're silly and appeal to my twisted sense of humour. But they're great as a mindless de-stresser. |

Twaddler, I don't think the WCG front page needs to be turned into a childish games page. Online support, better layout, better search facility, more info about projects and status, yes, but not something to put off the more serious browser/would-be cruncher.
