HFCC status update

Enjoy :D

We have done more than 76% calculation of this project (T1, S1, S2, N1, L3, L4).

We are now preparing the toxicity check experiment for the drug candidates (T1; 7 compounds, S1; 3 compounds).

These experiments are covered with the prize money which IBM Watoson Computer won by an American popularity TV program “Jeopardy”.

Thank you.

Suggest all ignore that % thoroughly. It's what has been received & validated by the scientists. Uplinger in the other thread hinted not to be very far from giving the 30 day, last new work notice.

Sums: We're on L4, which is the last 1/6th of 100% i.e. we're no matter what > 83.3%, but the batch numbers received of L4 (001-287) will tell how far into that target. Cogito Ergo Sum, we're probably into the 92+ percent of work already distributed and 91+% of validated.

edit: Which are the batch numbers? The bolded part 282, or the first 3 digits of the last 7 being the compound identifier.

What does this mean exactly? Did IBM donate the money to the Japanese scientists?

It's a worthwhile cause but it seems sort of odd?

Re: HFCC status update

Summing up the different postings and news items it reads as if IBM International Foundation augmented / topped up the donation from Watson's winnings to make it a sizeable grant to continue the research post-haste.

As you surely have read, all projects, past and present issued research proposals and I think 8 of these were awarded a grant.
