Re: Chiba reasearchers and patients

There's a high-up web-cam which as of an hour ago [nighttime] showed the Chiba campus as tranquil.

We checked with the research team and Dr. Nakagawara's and Dr. Tamura reported that they were ok. They reported that their lab sustained some damage but that damage probably would not affect this project.

Yes, hoping for the best for all of Japan and especially our Chiba scientists and patients.

Re: Chiba reasearchers and patients

All our thoughts and encouragements to Japanese people, including HFCC scientists and all boinc users, from myself and all "L'Alliance Francophone" team members.

Special thoughts to Team 2ch crunchers, some of us are temporarily switching from AF to their team on our boinc projects in order to support them - very very modest and symbolic support compared to what your country is going through at the moment.

Don't lose faith.

Re: Chiba reasearchers and patients

Harsh times indeed, 2 massive natural disasters(not counting after quakes) and now a potential nuclear disaster not to mention radiation.
Considering the possible long term effects not to mention perhaps food supply contamination from seafood is about as scary as eating fish caught in the gulf after the BP oil spill to me. All the more reason to crunch projects like HFCC and HCC.

Je voudrais dire toute ma solidarité avec les chercheurs de Chiba et le peuple japonais dans l'épreuve dramatique qu'ils connaissent.

I would like to say all my solidarity and support to Chiba's team research and all japonese people in those dramatic disasters that they are living.

Hope and courage
