Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Hello Cleanenergy,

When you prepare the next generation library. Is it possible to add special options in the user profile or something similar (auto detection in BOINC-Software?) to calculate bigger molecules? Now the user can choose “Number of workunits per host”. Would it make sense to add an option for existing memory in the user PC to calculate bigger molecules and an option for the CPU architecture to send architectures specific binaries for calculation? For example (Non-AVX, AVX or AVX2 binaries) to use specific features from the compiler optimization.

Hi. Will there be an update on research soon? It's been a while since the last one.

We have just been lucky enough to have a visit from Joao Aires de Sousa, who has been showing us his work on fast predictors of DFT properties.
