Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

The increased amount of requested work units may be caused by the 9th Birthday WCG Challenge raised Seti-Germany-Team.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We had a long CEP team meeting today discussing the transition of tasks and responsibilities upon Johannes' departure to other people. We also charted out the research plans of everybody for the coming months.

Oh yes, and yesterday we had our monthly phone call with IBM (unusual day due to a scheduling conflict) and things seem to be going well. Crunching on!

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Here is a really interesting article from our friends over at Backblaze. They analyze the lifetimes of the hard drives in their 75PB cloud storage. Very interesting reading - in particular if you are a techie and hardware afficionado.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We are currently migrating our software development version control system from SVN to the more modern git.
