The most bizarre thing happened yesterday. We discovered that someone in the department mounted hardware into our Jabba rack... Suleyman is investigating what is going on.

From the movies... The DOE [in cahoots with the NSA of course] wanting a direct tap into this 'thing', after you wrote you wanted to segregate the public facing and internal database entirely

Ed Pyzer-Knapp (who will start his work with us in January as a new postdoc) is in town for a quick visit. We are really looking forward to having him on board and expand our area of expertise towards the prediction of the condensed phase and packing of OPVs.

Ya'll must not be as paranoid as I am...if I cannot guarantee true physical security, then I prefer to install cameras and videotape either everything or only those occasions when motion is sensed (speaking of "Motion", there is an open source project of that name). That way I don't have to deal with "whodunnit" and can move directly to "whyudidit". Motive is always interesting...although it could be as simple as you left a "clean power" outlet visible and somebody decided that was a good place for their hardware. |

That's the total number of results returned per the projects stats page as of this posting. How many more to go before we're done here? This is a very simple question. Perhaps too simple for the sort of answer for which I am asking, but I thought I'd try asking anyway. |
