The latest version of CEPDB is currently spinning up. It features a new internal indexing table to significantly reduce the load from deep queries, which occur in all-data analysis runs. We basically trade a slight increase in the memory footprint for much simpler MySQL hits.

We have ordered more memory for our database server so that our analysis runs (which typically involve large chunks of the entire CEPDB data set) can be designed more efficiently. It’ll be nice to have this extra flexibility.
