anywho...quick way to get to the last page...in the forum listings, where it tells you who posted last in a thread, there's an icon next to the name. click the icon, and to the last page you go.  Yeah - bizarre thing though (I don't know if anyone else is getting this?), when I click that, I get the same as I do after I've posted when it goes to the page to show me my post... it's the last page of the thread, but the forum page numbers show it as page 1. Is that just me? I'm using Firefox 1.06. As for the team thread... I've looked at the forum rules and there's nothing in there about a limit on the number of posts per thread, but there is a limit of one team thread per team, the only exception being when there is a big milestone of some sort to report (I can feel the need for a Scores & Rewards thread coming on). However, I notice that some teams have multiple threads running without any sign of locking the older ones. My concern is that without the thread being locked, we may end up with multiple active team threads, or we may end up getting the later one locked. Without the facility of being able to PM a mod who locks your thread, we may just have to wing it and see. |

nope, i get that as well(the page numbering thign)...another oddity of the board...was in my original message that got lost...
vaio...lol...keep the thread....suggesting we check to see how large a thread the database can handle?  nah, let's not break things...we just got here.  |

Dunno how trying to build a successful team can be construed as causing trouble.........I mean, there's only a few of us here at the moment.
Team promotion is about visibility......and the only complaint so far has come from a team that is pretty much always on the front page.....so the argument could easily be redirected. Just trying to build a successful team here and "community" is in the project name........well this is our lil community. Considering the amount of views there aren't THAT many posts |
