Yesterday, exactly on the 60th day of 2011 we hit first time the 60 day mean 0.5 PetaFLOPS performance mark... as in 500.0 TeraFLOPS... as in 500,000,000,000,000 FLOP per second, every second of the day.

As of noon we're doing 504.8 TeraFLOPS, day 8 of maintaining this 60 day average pace. Time to set our sights on a higher goal, before summer holidays arrive... 600 TFL maybe, sooner than later ;>)

im a welding engineer so not too up on all the advanced research and academia
