Good Morning! Good to hear from you this "Morning" Dave. I was up till 4AM here fighting with different operating systems on my new cruncher. Finally, I got it all going on Ubuntu 64 and got the Clean Energy Project running. You have to add code to the 64bit version to let it run 32 bit applications. But all seems well at this point. Not sure if you saw my earlier post as though I did not mention how much of a pain it was I struggled for months with this same problem on one of my machines. The/my earlier post addresses how I solved my issue with that error message. May or may not work for you. Otherwise I am in the process of moving my office so my numbers may be down for a while. Also waiting for all my parts to come in for my new computer. |

Dave, Yes, it was very traumatic. I am doing some planning as RT recommends. Battery backup is definitely going to come into play. I am also going to place one of my oxygen tanks here in my bedroom. By the way, using Dragon Naturally Speaking with the television on behind you can be a bit difficult, especially when the cable provider kicks up the volume during commercials.Sounds like one he-- of a night. If this is CPU overheating issue , then I can play with CPU settings to see if it helps. Thanks again. somehow , I returned couple of results few mins ago |
