We have removed the extra button. The issue is most certainly the fault of a narrower field for the buttons on the left side of the Advanced View. The 'Commands' panel extends from the left side of the window to approximately 3/4 of the width of the Tasks tab, including the Projects tab in its width. This is seen on BM 6.10.58 on WinXP. An earlier version running also on XP shows the width of the Commands field to span Projects and Tasks tabs entirely, even slightly onto the Transfers tab. The button could easily be returned to the Commands panel if the panel width were adjusted back to the previous width. |

I'd not be surprised it is a result of screen resolution setting and font chosen or missing. Then the OS tries to insert a substitute. The button is gone now. It can be controlled from WCG, the xml update passed if needed with the next Server-Client contact.

I'd not be surprised it is a result of screen resolution setting and font chosen or missing. Then the OS tries to insert a substitute. Maybe you're right. The fact is, that for the (multiple) instances of machines and OSes I've got running the previous BM could hold the width of the long-named button while the new one cannot. Someone had to have adjusted it away from (my) optimum- possibly to meet *their* optimum (resolution/font). Ah well. It's not important, anyway. blah, blah, blah |
