Set the Disc Use several times but it won't save. Set in "Work" mode and in Preferences

This line

suggests there is 20GB worth of project files in C:\ProgramData\BOINC

Can you please look in the BOINC Manager Disk tab (Advanced View), what the pie charts say, which project is doing this (Right Pie) or whether it only shows under Total Disk Usage (Left Pie). Something is detected as being occupying space in that data_dir area.

Try the following settings on the WCG webpage for work profile. If you used the preferences in the boinc manager, open them and click clear, then update WCG to load the web preferences.

Use no more than: 10.00 Gigabytes of disk space
Leave at least: 1.00 Gigabytes of disk space free
Use no more than: 80 % of total disk space

Nap,

Gathering from the [RESOLVED] insert into the OP title that you found something. Can you share what you did, so we maybe canidentify something for a bug report?

For completeness, also for others, here a screenshot and a reproduction of the effective disk setting for this client:

Use at most 10 GB diskspace (default)
Leave at least 0.25GB diskspace free
Use at most 85% of total diskspace
Use at most 85% of page file (Swap space)

The above translates with an actual 9.18GB free per the file explorer and partition size of 55.8GB to:

1. 9.18GB - 0.25 GB = 8.93GB allowed for BOINC, since it's less than 10GB to start with.
2. 8.93 GB - 0.54 GB (540.77MB actual Use) = 8.39 GB space to use if needed.
3. The 85% of disk (55.8GB) exceeds 10GB default, thus does not apply.

Rules work as "least" of any setting!

Hello Again,
I went into C:\ProgramData\BOINC and found a large stdout(OLD) file and deleted it. That gave enough leeway to set "All Projects" and shake things loose. Then I rebooted and set back to Clean Water and Dengue. I failed to mention this all started with my 6.10.58 update. I used 6.10.18 for quite a while without a hitch
