lay out bit unclear since new software 6.10.58 version of BOINC

Ever since the new 6.10.58 version of BOINC is installed on my laptop there seems to be something wrong with the lay out of the WCG in simple mode. Does anyone know how to fix this ? PS, I already tried reinstalling and that didnt fix it.

Ps, I tried to include a printscreen but somehow I cant post printscreens on the forum ?

Hi,

Is it the one from IBM/WCG you installed or the one from Berkeley?

Screenshots is possible by opening / editing your last post, and hit the Image button above the writing area and plug the url in. No direct images are possible i.e. first store it to for instance imageshack. Meantime, in Simple View, hit preferences and select a different on if the WCG is there, e.g. default.

I think its the BERKELY version :) Should I use the IBM / WCG version instead ?

I downloaded the new software from this site >> https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/reg/ms/viewDownloadAgain.do

Probably makes no 1 iota of difference... I've got distortions at times on one machine, suspecting the graphic card drivers need updating.

Screenshot will still give us an idea as well as the OS and graphics card and driver version.

What BOINC version did you come from that things still appeared fine?

Don't know, other than possibly the old boinc.msi still residing in the subs to C:\Windows\Downloaded Installations Rerun that and you get your old install back with that, and can check then also if it's version specific.

Happened to post a Screenshot in another thread today of the WCG 6.10.58 where some members reported button problems. This is how it looks for me. The only observation I have is that the projects that have no icon/logo of their own show blank buttons, so one has to hover with mouse to find out which projects they represent:
