Re: Show us your Boinc Benchmarks. ( Comparison )

Nice cruncher swisscruncher. Build it yourself? Am currently looking for some Hexes to replace my dual quad westmere system. Still pricey. eBay folks still want allot for used ones.

Re: Show us your Boinc Benchmarks. ( Comparison )

Your post shows X5660 @ 3.33. But the x5660 is a 2.8Ghz processor. Over clocked?
Looks like a nice machine. About the same price as a Mac pro. To much for my blood. I built my system for around $2800.00 bucks. Got lucky on the processors. Still want 2 hex cores (2.93's). Am hoping when the SB xeons come out, prices drop for the westmere chips. You got a heck of a machine. Congrats.

@Bearcat : you're right about the processor I was wrong in and I'll fix it. I have several stations for my work (HP Z800) and some have X5660 and others X5680. With 48GB memory + different cards for different work (Quadro6000, Quadro FX3800, Telsa, ...) + HD With 6GB / s SAS. Yes good machines wink I like too MacPro, I have also in my work but never tested with bionic, I will try soon smile
