Recieved 127 so far today so just need to hold tight as they are sprinkling in. A little over a third of the way to saphire.

Forget about trying to get days of work queued up. I am just trying to keep my systems from running dry.

The next BETA is likely to be long running WUs of the Energy project for Windows. Those suckers may run for 8 hours each. shock Just 4 of them can give a full day toward a badge. nerd

Ha! More for me then. devilish

8 hrs? try 16-20. I loaded one of my system with linux and let it run. I did 2 CEP2 WUs so far and it took 12 hrs each and based on how other WUs finished under linux, I am guessing it will take anyway from 16-20 hrs easierly (well at least on my windows systems).

Here is some info for comparison with your systems.
These numbers were done on the same machine, just different OS. I showed these 2 projects since the WUs seems to run about the same length each.
Windows Linux
HCC 2.6 1.5
c4cw 2.7 1.7

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I thought the announcement meant there would be some type A's coming.

All I've gotten so far are ~70 type C's.

IMHO, it's a waste of bandwidth to download 18MB of files for 45 minutes of crunching (at that rate I can barely download them fast enough to keep 4 cores busy).

You guys have at it; I'm turning it back off again. :-)
