The 'pd' seem to crunch just a little bit harder this time. For ts01 they're doing about 5:40 - 5:50, where for ts02 they did 5:10-5:30 on the same machine.
Netted 38, and my heart jolted for a moment, as during the downloading a 3 hour projected HCMD2 was running to 10 hours, causing the DCF to inflate to 3.2 and multiplying the DDDT2 times when after they downloaded... for a while they showed to be worth 16 hours a piece ... suddenly the cache went from 2.0 days to 7.5 days, for 4 cores ... it was not to be :P |

Based on the results from that, the remaining ts01 typeC's will be made available. Seippel The last of my dozen or so units was just sent back. All of them were either valid or PV. Assuming that everything is going well for everyone else do you have an estimate on when the other units will be released? Thanks ![]() |

Monday earliest, I dare to assume ;>) I assumed that as well. However, having finished up on Friday, I also assumed/knew from prior experience (sigh...) that I'd have a brain fart over the weekend & completely forget about my question by the time Monday rolled around.... ![]() At least that way the question was asked & I wouldn't have to try to remember to do so ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Greg L at Feb 21, 2011 6:14:15 PM] |

Asking that in the weekend and the below 'this moment in PV' makes me think that there won't be anything of an answer until the batch is substantially complete, Monday earliest, I dare to assume ;>) Monday was a very good weather forecast ;) I've made the remaining ts01 typeC's available to be picked up by BOINC which should happen in a few hours (up to 8 hours, assuming no problems). There are only 293,820 work units (with two copies of each being sent out). The final batch will be ts01_e_g10_e091_to_e100_typeC Also, here is the breakdown of where the work units are (for those that like to track how many more days of rain): 55578 ts01_a* 69561 ts01_b* 71331 ts01_c* 82128 ts01_d* 15222 ts01_e* Seippel |

seippel, what do you mean by the final batch? The quote says "until the batch is substantially complete" so do you really mean something like the final part of the current batch? Or is DDDT2 coming to an end?

Or is DDDT2 coming to an end? No, DDDT2 is not coming to an end anytime soon. I just meant the final batch of the work units I just made available. Crunchers had asked for this information in the past so they would know (based on recent work units they had downloaded) when we are nearing the end of the 'rain.' Seippel |

"Only'' is more than the last big rain started on Jan.18 which had applying quorum 2, some 542,000 results, before repairs. The 293,820 would than be 587,640. At the same feeder priority that would mean a soaking English drizzle of one month, without interruption.
Think emerald is not far away... needing 43 days since the last dip of toes in puddle. Crunch On. |
