----------------------------------------I am having problems getting up to the same 1M ppd I did earlier. Not because of trouble with the machines, but other issues... Anyway, I'm running 12 GPU WUs in parallel, with one CPU thread assigned to each WUs. CPU running at 4400MHz and GPU at 1150MHz. Hoping that I'll be able to get up to some more regular cruching soon. Good morning everyone.
----------------------------------------It sure would be nice if BOINC/WCG would offer a feature where we could see if our machines are "online". I've been using logmein for years to monitor the online status of all my machines and occasionally remote control some. Now logmein is getting greedy and wants $200 year for the service or limit users to only 10 machines. Does anyone know of a secure service like logmein that I can use for free that will show status and allow me to remote control my machines and not limit me me on how many I can list? Y'all have a great day

----------------------------------------I have used TeamViewer, but only for remote controlling a few PCs. But if I am not mistaken you can create an account there and then see all connected computers. Perhaps you could take a look, just google TeamViewer. And for personal use, it's free. Hello all,
----------------------------------------I dont think i mentioned it, I was taking 5 min for my 7750 to do a GPU unit, then after about 3 units it would go back to 10 or 11 min. Ever since I installed it. I dislike trying to update the drivers for AMD it's not simple like NVIDIA. Anyway I figured it out one day (was cleaning up the puter and doing updates) and amazingly now my card does 5 min or less consistently! Going to have to remember that. |

Why is it not as easy on AMD to update drivers?
----------------------------------------5 minutes...how many are you running at a time Jack? My 7970 does one unit in about 8 minutes when crunching 12 in parallel. Still not being able to crunch regularly :( Only sporadic bursts... Be well everyone. I had trouble setting up the app info file...
----------------------------------------I had 3 running at a time and it took about 9 min so 3 min average. But then it wasn't doing anything else... I'm doing ok with 5 min. I get 3 other wu going, and one for cancer. I get around 100K a day on this 2500K machine. |

Jack try the app_info.xml file I am using here under with my 7970. Works perfectly well. I crunch 10 GPU threads in parallel at about 8min30sec each.
