Thanks, well, in another thread I read that other have their gpu gong up and down, and i see it's the same with me. I'm still a quite new and slowly learning to optimise hardware. Anyway I'm cruching.

Yep, the GPU crunching does not utilize maximum resources under default settings. It is possible to run several tasks on GPU in parallel though, by adding an xml file to BOINC data directory structure. I am running 12 concurrent tasks, and we have the same CPU and GPU. I can have a look and copy it for you when I get access to my PC :)

Bronze for The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 That's a tough one, if you only run one instance as I am doing now. On the parts list, I have a GTX 560, and a AMD 7750. I just bought for the new computer an amd 7850. Now I guess I have to learn how to fix that file to run multiple on that GPU. I'm hoping I can run 4 at a time. (It's an I7 3770K so 8 cores with HT). |
