I have 24 WUs from 10 devices that have completed but cannot be uploaded. The problem appears to have developed about 2 hours ago, around 13:30 UTC. The bulk of the messages I'm seeing are: Started upload of X0000070560949200607111944_1_0 [error] Error on file upload: Maintenance underway: file uploads are temporarily disabled. Temporarily failed upload of X0000070560949200607111944_1_0: transient upload error Backing off 1 min 0 sec on upload of X0000070560949200607111944_1_0 With an occasional: Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site Temporarily failed upload of X0000070580762200606141426_0_0: HTTP error Backing off 9 min 31 sec on upload of X0000070580762200606141426_0_0 Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. Downloads are working fine. Internet access is fine, have power-cycled the modem and router with no change. It really looks to be a server side problem Bill P I am getting exactly the same, despite rebooting.

Same issue here with same messages on 3 computers:
----------------------------------------World Community Grid 12.06.2010 18:05:39 [error] Error reported by file upload server: Maintenance underway: file uploads are temporarily disabled. World Community Grid 12.06.2010 18:05:39 Temporarily failed upload of faah14495_ZINC04488988_xEN_2nd_md00020_02_0_2: transient upload error So far 11 units waiting for upload. Rebooting is not the solution. Download works fine. Good luck to solve this quickly. EDIT: Uploads to other BOINC projects working fine. I tested this with GPUGrid, Milkyway and WUProp. This really looks like the issue is on the WCG side. [Edit 1 times, last edit by roundup at Jun 12, 2010 4:29:15 PM] |

Et Al,
----------------------------------------Just don't do anything... after the Project Back Off counter reached zero, my duo succeeded to upload the result file, thus presuming the wrenchman is on the job. Why don't do anything: If we all start collectively hammering the Retry Now button there will be more back-offs. There's only so many connection threads.
