I've awnsered and solved his questions regarding Dotsch/UX on the Dotsch/UX forums, and pointed nanoprobe to the right Dotsch/UX installation.

Don't be too hard on the Linux noob. 2 or 3 face in palms or *slaps forehead* usually gets me pointed in the right direction.
---------------------------------------- It's too early too tell but preliminary results look good. HCC WU unit crunch times went from 1.5 hours each to 1 hour each. Many thanks again to all and next time when in doubt I'LL READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST. ![]()
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

I don't know if I should start a new thread but I have another question related to running on USB drives. While the times to finish WUs are faster the amount of points awarded are less than 1/2 as much vs. Win 7. For example I have a Win 7 64 bit machine with 1712 results and 915060 point which = about 534 points per result. The USB running Dotsch/UX 1.2 64 bit has 345 results and 89,905 points which = about 260 points per result. I know this isn't about points I'm just curious as to why a Windows cruncher would get twice the points vs a Linux cruncher when Linux is only maybe 25% faster for me?
----------------------------------------EDIT. They are both crunching using the same profile.
