Hello,
Since several days i got the following messages : 06/05/2010 22:44:59 World Community Grid Reporting 2 completed tasks, requesting new tasks 06/05/2010 22:45:04 World Community Grid Scheduler request failed: Couldn't connect to server 06/05/2010 22:46:04 World Community Grid Sending scheduler request: Requested by project. 06/05/2010 22:46:04 World Community Grid Reporting 2 completed tasks, requesting new tasks 06/05/2010 22:46:09 World Community Grid Scheduler request failed: Couldn't connect to server I use BOINC 6.10.18 under XP I found in messages tab the starting time since the problem appears : 03/05/2010 00:15:40 World Community Grid Finished upload of HFCC_s2_02125071_s2_0001_0_3 03/05/2010 00:15:43 World Community Grid Finished upload of HFCC_s2_02125071_s2_0001_0_1 03/05/2010 02:58:42 World Community Grid Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 03/05/2010 02:58:42 World Community Grid Reporting 1 completed tasks, requesting new tasks 03/05/2010 02:58:58 Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site 03/05/2010 02:58:58 World Community Grid Scheduler request failed: Couldn't resolve host name 03/05/2010 02:59:15 BOINC can't access Internet - check network connection or proxy configuration. 03/05/2010 03:00:00 World Community Grid Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 03/05/2010 03:00:00 World Community Grid Reporting 1 completed tasks, requesting new tasks 03/05/2010 03:00:15 World Community Grid Scheduler request failed: Couldn't resolve host name 03/05/2010 03:01:15 World Community Grid Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. BOINC: ... can't / couldn't resolve hostname
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...ead,25902_offset,0#234188 Ordinarily this happens when the router / modem needs rebooting. But there are other possibilities. Lawrence |

Hi,
Thanks for your answers. When the problem, nothing happens on my network or ADSL line. I have try after, at work, at home (rebooting everything), with 3G , without any success. It is why I posted my question. What i have done this morning : I installed the latest version of Boinc [ 6.2.28 ], at the end of installation I got the following error : a small window with "Internal Error 2753. boincmgr.exe " I install again in repair mode, seems ok. When the program starts, I may read the following errors : "CPU benchmarks error", read below. however, it seems ok right now.
