Yes Movieman, on the My Grid page there's a sidebar Beta Testing option, where on that page you can choose which profiles should check in the beta queue each time it asks for work. It always checks the beta queue first, invisibly though i.e. you wont get "No Beta work presently".

Ha ha, this is funny...Original estimates are aroung 5mins. Less estimate on beta while over estimate on dddt2.

Well at 84 hours DDDT2 TTCs, really running 45 minutes, yes the normal HCC beta fpop estimated run times will then be deflated incorrectly to 5 minutes, due an utterly warped DCF. Fortunately you can have only 1 beta per core, so it wont cause total overcommit of the client trying to buffer up.

... 36 minutes right on 25%. I like the outlook of 2:24 hours versus a old mean on my quad under W7-64 of 4:35 hours or there about... very regular. Think though it will end a little longer given the checkpoints spaces increase as things get harder further into the work units.

That sounds a good feature to have on DDDT2 rather than over estimates - for type b & c, so everone can participate. |

Back on the actual test, the kernel time, PF and delta there-off for this 6.08 Beta version concurrently running 2 old 2 new, show entirely same values under W7-64... small about 100k PF total, 1 second kernel half way into the job. No Delta at all. Superb.
