Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

I've just switched all of my 24/7 computers to the Clean Energy Project 2. My goal is to have at least 10-year diamond badges on all projects going forward. I wonder if we'll see a significant up-tick in work for CEP2 from other badge chasers?

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Well, I'm certainly glad that there's new goals to strive for (although, I suspect that they're a bit too ambitious for me), so I'll just keep plodding on towards my MCM Sapphire badge, then probably boosting my CEP2 to that level as well.

After that, who knows... Possibly MCM will begin the very long road to the first Diamond level (5 years), but hopefully, there'll have been at least 1 (possibly more) new project(s) come on-board by then to change my plans. After all, we are talking at least 9 months down the road (after which, there probably won't be enough time for me to reach 5 years on MCM - it'd take me ~ 2.5 years to achieve that).

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Closing in on Sapphire for MCM and FAaH. I need about 35 calendar days to get both. After that I'll start a loooong journey towards my first diamond badge on MCM. I'm sure this will get interrupted by a new project, which I'm more than happy to participate in to get my 20th badge! hypnotized

@ gb009761: If you want to get your Sapphire on CEP2, be sure not to wait too long, as it is predicted to end in september this year (or I missed some critical news). Of course I don't know how much you need for sapphire. I need another full year for CEP2 Sapphire so I sort of gave up on that..

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Well... as for a new project, there seems to be one in the oven .
SNURK... hang in there... you've almost made it your objective for MCM & FAAH. I'm in the same boat with MCM & CEP2 (explanation in a little further down)
gb009761... Go Team, GO !!! for your Sapphire badges for MCM & CEP2
Branjo... Luck on reaching Diamond for MCM

So... where am I? I have 15 days to go to make it to Ruby for CEP2 (I doubt I'll make it any further) and I'm 48 days away from Sapphire for MCM.

Luck to all !!!

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

@ SNURK, the impression I'm getting through 'reading between the lines' (I certainly haven't seen anything official - and that may well be why the official end date is still saying 'later on this year'), is that the CEP2 is a bit like FA@H - in that, the more we crunch, the more data they find for us to crunch... So, once I've got my MCM Sapphire locked in, I'll switch back to CEP2 again, and progress along that long road - either until I reach Sapphire, it ends, or a new project starts. Basically, I really don't think MCM will last long enough for me to stretch to 5 years on that project.

Based on Sgt.Joe calculation, we still have almost 2 years to achieve our goals wink
